What did you do this past week?
This past week I barely did anything productive besides an onsite interview and a couple of homework projects that were due this week. Besides these things, I also started going on jogs again and celebrated my birthday with my family.
What’s in your way?
Right now my own procrastination is very in my way. It has been a real struggle to complete work in a virtual setting, and being at home has made it that much harder. There are a couple of projects, including the software engineering project that are due next week, none of which I have started, which means that next week will be quite a busy week for me. If I want to do well this semester, I think I will have to start managing my time better and starting projects like these much earlier.
What will you do next week?
As I said, next week will be quite busy with a lot of the projects queued up. I have Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence, and Software Engineering projects to complete, and other than that I will try to exercise more like usual and spend time with family.
What was your experience of types, object models, and iterators? (this question will vary, week to week)
Before this class, I had experience learning about types, object models, and iterators, however, I had never put too much thought into how they really worked under the hood, so this class has definitely helped to solidify my understanding of these concepts.
What made you happy this week?
Something that made me happy this week was being able to sign my full-time offer with Citadel. Recruiting this semester was super stressful and time-consuming, and now that all of that is done, I can relax a lot more now that my future is set.
What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
My tip of the week is are these two video tutorials on how to use regex. Regex is something I recently learned and it is turning out to be a very useful skill to have.
