CS373 Fall 2020 Blog #4
What did you do this past week?
This past week, on top of going to class, I was able to finish my Neural Networks assignment. In addition to that, I finished some other homework for other classes but otherwise had a lot of free time. In my free time, I exercised, played piano, and helped out with some Citadel recruiting events.
What’s in your way?
Again, nothing really is in my way. I guess I’ve been pretty lazy during these past couple of days which has meant that I didn’t get as much done as I wanted to, so I will look to get off my butt in the coming week.
What will you do next week?
Next week I need to start and finish an Artificial Intelligence assignment, as well as wrap up my interviews with a couple of onsites, as my return offer will soon expire. I am looking forward to finishing this process, as it will take a lot of stress and work off of the rest of my semester. I also plan on hanging out with some hometown friends for the first time in a while; it will be great to see them again and catch up.
What was your experience of exceptions, IDB1, and types? (this question will vary, week to week)
I think coming into this class, I had a good idea of how exceptions and typing worked in python. IDB1 however will be a relatively new thing for me to learn, as I have long forgotten the little bit of experience I have had in web development in high school and freshman year.
What made you happy this week?
Early this week, I was able to call some of my old friends from high school, and it was great to be able to see them(virtually) and chat for a couple of hours.
What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
My pick of the week this week is an AWS training course I found online that I have recently been working through. I think some of the concepts covered there will be pretty helpful for this class.
